Welcome to Organically Grown Muscle! We are a unique fitness center dedicated to helping adults, primarily women aged 35 to 65, improve their strength and overall well-being. Our personal trainers are committed to listening to your needs so they can design a safe and effective program. The other important factor is to help guide you through the mental aspects of starting and reaching your personal goals. Starting a new fitness program with a personal trainer can be intimidating. So it is our job to focus on what you need as an individual no matter your starting point.

1. You will get an individualized program for you to use when you are not with the trainer. We will figure out exactly the kind of program that will work best for your goals. Whether it is muscle gain, weight/fat loss, reducing pain, getting your first Pull Up or improving your mental health.  We will make sure you are able to follow through on the program while giving you mental and physical skills to help you do so.

2. Exercise is for EVERY type of body and EVERY kind of person. We are able to meet you where you are and go from there. Our personal trainers are experts at working around injuries or concerns you may have with exercising and weightlifting. We provide modications to all exercises if needed, which can help you exercise through difficulties. 

3. You will get immediate RESULTS and start to feel stronger, better and happier in your own body after the first couple of sessions. 

Weightlifting  for beginners small group training

Every weightlifting class instructor is also a certified personal trainer who knows how to help every age, specifically middle-aged and older adults weightlift. individual and meet them where they are yet. You may have no exercised in a while and need direction and some motivation from a group setting. Or you have worked out and want to have a set program each month from a personal trainer. Our classes are meant to create a non-judgmental space for any type of person to feel comfortable and strong while challenging themselves in class. These Small Group Training classes are the solution to knowing exactly what to do with free weights or barbells that you may not have picked up in the past.

1. We focus on starting you on your level in each class. With regressions and progressions to make sure the exercises are challenging enough for you specifically. If you struggle with back pain, knee pain or other aches when you lift, we will have modifications to help you do the exercises to improve those things.

2.  The classes are designed to create an “at your own pace” atmosphere for weightlifting. Everyone has a certain way they squat that works best for them and we help you figure that out. This also ensures you get personalized help to learn the exercises and progress appropriately each month. Our trainers can help you find the right weight or exercise to make it just challenging enough or regress it to a level that is appropriate for you.

3. Each class program is a specific program that you can progress through. This is crucial when building muscle, metabolism and your confidence because we can track your progress over that months time frame. This helps you learn new exercises properly so you can even implement on your own. It is the BEST way to lose the body fat, build the muscle and create true strength.
